Desulfurization, Gas Sweetening & H2S Removal solutions,
What is Desulfurization?
Desulfurization is the process of removing sulfur from natural gas (or flue gas desulfurization) to produce "pipeline quality gas" in the case of natural gas, and meet E.P.A. or local air pollution regulations in the case of flue gas.
In the natural gas industry, Desulfurization is usually referred to as "H2S Removal."
What is Flue Gas Desulfurization?
Flue Gas Desulfurization is the technology or process used that removes sulfur oxides and sulfur dioxides (SO2) from the products of combustion or flue gases at power plants (biomass or coal fueled) that are produced in boilers. Flue Gas Desulfurization removes the pollutants before discharge to the atmosphere.
Flue Gas Desulfurization is also referred to as a scrubber. Commonly used chemicals or natural materials used include lime as the "scrubbing" media.

“spending hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of billions of dollars every year for oil, much of it from the Middle East, is just about the single stupidest thing that modern society could possibly do. It’s very difficult to think of anything more idiotic than that.” ~ R. James Woolsey, Jr., former Director of the CIA

According to R. James Woolsey, former Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, “The basic insight is to realize that global warming, the geopolitics of oil, and warfare in the Persian Gulf are not separate problems — they are aspects of a single problem, the West’s dependence on oil.”
